Hazelwood Utah's Romeo is really quite outstanding and oozes quality. He has correct conformation and a naturally uphill frame which also shows in his ridden work. He has a big powerful stride with real presence. He is very athletic with a super hind leg. Very scopey over a fence, highly intelligent and has the most amazing gentle temperament. Rommy started his ridden work with the team at Catherston Stud under the watchful eye of Jennie Loriston Clark. He has successfully started off his showjumping education and career with Nick Edwards and has proven to be a very capable contender for big tracks where we hope to see him in the years to come.

Hazelwood Utah's Romeo is by the World Class Stallion Utah van Erpekom who was ridden at top level by John Whitaker. In their first year of top level competition, their results were spectacular, with the highlight being winning the CSI 5* 75,000 Euro Nestle Masters in Sao Paulo, Brazil. With many other top placings at 4*/5* it is a record unmatched by any other coloured horse.

Hazelwood Utah's Romeo is out of Vikketoltien, who after a succesful start to her career in Holland was imported to the UK to continue her successes up to Foxhunter and Grade C Qualifiers before retiring to stud. She has produced some super showjumpers. Vikketoltien's sire Oklund was jumped at the highest level by Dutch rider Eric van der Vleuten, winning several Grand Prix's. Vikketoltien's motherline is not short of high level jumpers either. Her dam sire is Jasper who showjumped at top level.

Hazelwood Utah's Romeo has two 2018 offspring and two 2019 offspring, all of whom have his super temperament and great conformation and easy powerful movement.
